Downtown Oconomowoc Chili-Fest
Chill out in downtown Oconomowoc where there's plenty to do in this winter wonderland. Hit the ice with your softball team, yes softball, for a tournament. Or, for the more traditional, you can sign up for a hockey tournament, too. Giant kites will bring color to the white landscape from Gift of Wings. Ice carvers will dot the downtown streets chiseling frozen blocks into works of art. As you stroll downtown shops, stop in to taste chili as part of the annual chili cookoff offered with this event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., www.downtownoconomowoc.org.

Oconomowoc Arts Center presents Ko-Thi Dance Company
Ko-Thi Dance Company is part of the OAC’s diversity offering. Comprised of artists trained in the history, mythology and techniques of art forms within the African Diaspora, this company performs enchanting shows using traditional instruments, authentic costumes, infectious music and extraordinary dance dedicated to the preservation of performance of traditional African-American and Caribbean dance. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with The Tannahill Weavers
Enjoy a little bit of Irish with the Tannahill Weavers appearing just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.  Hailed as one of Scotland’s premiere traditional bands, their diverse repertoire spans the centuries with fire-driven instrumentals, topical songs, and original ballads and lullabies. The show demonstrates the group’s passion for Celtic music and culture. Authentic instruments and original songs are part of the programming. Show begins at 2 p.m. www.theoac.net

Lake Country Community Fest
Enjoy entertainment, free raffle prizes, exposure to other businesses in the Lake Country area, purchase food and beverages from chamber member restaurants in the Food Court. Downtown Oconomowoc Spring Gallery Night
The Downtown Oconomowoc Business Association celebrates the onset of spring with the group's annual Spring Gallery Night throughout downtown. Shops stay open late hosting artists, live music and they offer free carriage rides throughout the night downtown, 5 to 9 p.m., www.downtownoconomowoc.org

Spring Art Walk
The sidewalks of downtown Delafield come alive with color and music during the (spring and fall) art walks. In front of downtown businesses, local artists display their creations at various stops throughout downtown. You'll also enjoy live music and performances and more! Leisurely stroll through the streets as you browse the art work for sale or be transported around downtown in a horse-drawn carriage. 5pm-9pm

Alan Safier plays George Burns in “Say Goodnight Gracie”
Spend a hilarious, heart-warming afternoon in the uplifting company of the world’s favorite and funniest centenarian, George Burns. This solo performance stars, Alan Safier, who brings George to life in this tender, funny life-affirming play based on the real love story of George Burns and his wife, Gracie Allen. Say Goodnight Gracie is Broadway’s third-longest running solo performance, won the National Broadway Theatre Award for Best Play and was nominated for a Tony Award. Show begins at 2 p.m. at the Oconomowoc Arts Center, www.theoac.net

Oconomowoc Memorial Day remembrance
Join the City of Oconomowoc's annual Memorial Day services which begin at the Rhodee Memorial Band Shell at 10am. The service includes a new special guest speaker every year from the military. The ceremony at the band shell also includes music by the Oconomowoc American Legion Band among others.
Following the service, a combined representation of military service groups march through downtown presenting the colors to Veterans Bridge to stop and honor the lost at sea by placing a wreath into the water. The procession then concludes at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier. www.oconomowoc-wi.gov/events
