Founded in 1843 upon settlement by Talbot C. Dousman and three others, Ottawa Wisconsin was recognized then as a superb place in which to live.
It remains so today!
The Town of Ottawa provides an abundance of recreation opportunities. The centerpiece of their recreation offerings is the Town Park, located at the intersection of Highways 67 and D. In addition, there are boat launches on three lakes, hiking/biking/snowmobiling trails and all the amenities of the southern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
